THIS IS A PRE ORDER SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE ON THE 29TH JANUARY 2027

LIMITED EDITION BLUE VINYL LP

Strictly limited blue vinyl: a one-time pressing, never to be repressed

• Vinyl: new 2026 vinyl master, cut from transfers of the original ¼" master tapes prepared for the 2010 reissue, on 180g heavyweight vinyl

• For the first time, the complete lyrics to the Madness-composed songs are printed on a 12" x 12"insert (vinyl)

• The original artwork from the album’s initial release in 1980 has been reproduced for this reissue

Released on 26 September 1980, Absolutely kept the momentum of the debut going. Lead single ‘Baggy Trousers’ stayed on the singles chart for more than four months, and the title came from a favourite expression of the band’s tour manager.

The album reached No.2 in both the UK and the Netherlands, No.31 in New Zealand and No.56 in Australia, and also charted in Sweden, Germany, Norway and Finland.
