Amon Tobin’s Chaos Theory returns in a 20th Anniversary Reissue of his soundtrack for Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. First released by Ninja Tune in 2005, the ten-track album stands on its own as a cinematic electronic record, moving between stealth, tension and explosive action. This edition presents the full album on transparent green double vinyl, wrapped in an illustrated foldaround poster and clear screen-printed outer.

●Amon Tobin is a Brazilian-born electronic musician whose catalogue spans Bricolage, Permutation, Supermodified, Foley Room and ISAM. Chaos Theory remains one of his best-known scoring projects.
●Ubisoft commissioned Tobin to score the third Splinter Cell game. Ninja Tune released the soundtrack as a standalone album in 2005.
●Tobin built a unified score with recurring, evolving themes rather than a collection of unrelated tracks.
●The music was made almost entirely from acoustic instruments, with every sound warped and re-warped along the way.
●Tobin described his approach as writing the music “as if it was a score for a Dario Argento movie.”
●This ten-track edition spreads the soundtrack across four vinyl sides, from “The Lighthouse” and “El Cargo” to “Hokkaido” and “The Clean Up.”
●The physical package pairs transparent green 140g vinyl with an illustrated poster and clear screen-printed outer.
